This is a modernist silver metal bracelet marked 850 - so it is of foreign manufacture and is below Sterling. I think it is from the 1950/1960's and I love the design. Price £88. Ref: 431 A187/8. www.gillianhorsup.com (There is usually more detail on my own website!).
A very large, Lea Stein, lying down cat brooch in ivorine colour with brown/black decoration. I normally have a good selection of Lea Stein brooches in my shop at Vintage Modes, Grays Antiques. Price £55. Ref: 433 A189/32. www.gillianhorsup.com.

A wonderful ?lucite hinged bangle with stripes on a gold flecked background! I think it would be late 1950's. It's very well made and has no damage. It's certainly a talking point and you are unlikely to see another! Price £65. Ref: 429 B2/22. www.gillianhorsup.com

This is a Jacob Bengel necklace in white metal with 2 orange balls. The 2 different sorts of chain form a knot in the middle. It's made by the Jacob Bengel factory in Germany in the 1930's. During the war all production at the factory ceased. Old stock from the factory has been discovered and sold. Unless the piece is featured in the 2 reference books, I can never be quite sure if the piece was originally assembled in it's current form - or whether it has been put together from old parts. Anyway it's a lovely art deco necklace and is £138. Ref: 369 A174/5. www.gillianhorsup.com

A rare find in Paris! This is a small serigraphy brooch by Lead Stein of a lady in a large hat. These are difficult to find. I have never had one so small - it is 3 cms. The colours are good too - lilac surround and pearlized background. It is marked "Lea Stein Paris". Price £65. Ref: 428 B4/18. www.gillianhorsup.com.

This is such a wonderful colour! A galalith stretch bracelet in a jade green colour with alternate carved and plain segments. It has survived intact. The carving is lovely. I have replaced the elastic. I would love to keep this but would like to sell it to someone who would take the same care that it obviously has had to date! Price £75. Ref: 427 A187/34. www.gillianhorsup.com

I love bakelite - the colours and the feel! It was hand cut and polished. In the shop we usually have a good selection of plain bakelite bangles of assorted colours and widths. They look good when several are worn together. The prices vary according to the colour and width and range from about £20 - £65. www.gillianhorsup.com

A wonderful pair of Stanley Hagler crystal drops clip earrings. Very collectible! They measure approx 8 cms. from top to bottom. They have very small, flat backed crystal stones, prong set, round the top of the bead caps. The logo on the back is "Stanley Hagler" which dates the earrings from the late 1950's - 1983. Personally I think they are earlier rather than later. Ref: 425 A151/21. Price £140. www.gillianhorsup.com

These are really over the top! A large pair of plastic, hooped earrings in bright yellow with flowers. The yellow plastic is opaque and the flowers are see through. In real life the earrings are brighter than in the picture. They measure 10cms. approx drop and 7cms. approx diameter. Great for a spring day out! Price £40. Ref: 424 B2/21. www.gillianhorsup.com
