JACOB BENGEL NECKLACE WITH 2 ORANGE BALLS

This is a Jacob Bengel necklace in white metal with 2 orange balls. The 2 different sorts of chain form a knot in the middle. It's made by the Jacob Bengel factory in Germany in the 1930's. During the war all production at the factory ceased. Old stock from the factory has been discovered and sold. Unless the piece is featured in the 2 reference books, I can never be quite sure if the piece was originally assembled in it's current form - or whether it has been put together from old parts. Anyway it's a lovely art deco necklace and is £138. Ref: 369 A174/5. www.gillianhorsup.com
